Keep in Touch is an experiment in collaborative spontaneous composition. I recorded a 23 minute soundscape and sent it to nine musicians and friends across the country with directions to record with it, obeying two rules:
1. No listening or preparing before you hit record
2. I want your first take, mistakes and all.
I then compiled and mixed all the contributions together. The resulting music brings unplanned moments of tension and beauty. It's a reminder to Keep In Touch with those you love.
